CEIP MONTE CORONA

The Preschool and Primary Education public school of Monte Corona is located in the municipality of Udías,  in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, Spain. It is a rural Municipality comprising 9 small villages. The students live far from one another, that is why the school turns into the main place for meeting and coexistence. The school has 1 Child Care Technician, 2 preschool teachers, 3 primary teachers,   1  educational and hearing and speech therapist, 1 music teacher, 1 English teacher 1 physical education teacher. Presently, there are  24 preschool children (aged between three and six) and 40 of primary education, divided into two classes of preschool children and 3 of primary education.

 

The distinct feature of the school is its educational experience. It has focused on the search and use of new educational resources, to meet the educational needs of all students, in a changing world which requires constant and creative adaptation. All of it within an environment of mutual respect and teamwork of the educational community
